Bay
County Crime Stoppers Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship
is to assist students who intend to pursue a career in law enforcement
or criminal justice.
AWARDS
Two
$1,000.00 Scholarships
Qualifications
- Have a college cumulative
G.P.A. of 2.5 or better.
- Be a legal Bay County
Michigan resident before applying.
- Able to attend a scheduled
interview with members of the Bay County Crime Stoppers board.
- Awarding of the scholarship
will not be based on race, age, national origin, religion or gender.
Criteria for
the Award
- Award is based on
the merit of the candidate.
- Award must be used
at Delta College basic police training academy.
- Applicant must meet
all school admission requirements.
Use of Funds
and Payment
- Awarded funds will
be paid directly to the chosen school.
- Funds may be used
for tuition, books, and required materials.
Application Procedure
- All applications
will be held confidential and will not be returned to applicant
- Winning applicant
will be notified by mail.
